Lagoon 380 Catamaran

Brunswick, GA. to Abacos, Bahamas - November 2007
Mike, along with friends/sailors Jeremy Pape and Steve Burke made the 4 day trip from Brunswick to Marsh Harbor, Abacos. We spent the first day heading due south to Cape Canaveral, then turned east to cross the Gulf Stream. We entered the Abacos at Walker's Cay and spent the next two days making the trip 'inside' the islands southeast to Marsh Harbor. We managed to hook up a few fish, but the only ones we seemed to get to the boat were barracuda. We had a nice dolphin (mahi) on the hook, that probably weighed 40-50 lbs. But he overwhelmed our light tackle and escaped - dammit Steve.
