Boat Specs - Lagoon 380

Lucy is a 2007 model Lagoon 380 catamaran (hull #417) with a length of 38 feet, a beam of 21 feet. She has a draft of around 4 feet fully loaded. She has a mast height of 57 feet, which allows her to get under the bridges on the US Intercoastal Waterway.

Lucy has a fully battened main, a roller furling jib and a roller furling spinnaker (actually a UPS - Utility Power Sail) built by the Doyle loft in St. Pete, Florida. Mark Ploch of Doyle Ploch Sails worked with us to build a spinnaker (UPS) that would give us the best reaching/running performance in a sail that could be rolled on a furler. The Doyle Ploch loft also built the Doyle Stack Pack for Lucy.

Lucy is the 3-cabin "owner's layout' featuring 2 cabins and one head to port and one cabin and one head to starboard (see diagram above).

About Our Sailmaker - Doyle Ploch Sails:
We can highly recommend the Doyle loft in St. Petersburg, Florida (Doyle Ploch Sails) for all of your sail needs. They built Lucy's Stack Pack and Furling Spinnaker and did a great job. We are very pleased with both items.

Contact Mark Ploch at (800) 237-4453 (office) OR (917)-864-8422 (cell). Tell him Mike Glover sent you. There web site address is: www.doyleplochsails.com
